BEFORE INSTALLATION

Start with the correct size.

Before fitting your cover, confirm that you ordered the correct size for your sofa. Remove cushions, throws and any loose accessories. Make sure the sofa surface is clean and dry.

✔ Check your product and selected size
✔ Identify the front and back of the cover
✔ Remove loose cushions
✔ Keep fitting foam pieces nearby (if included)
✔ Ask another person for help with a large sofa

INSTALLATION STEPS

Fit your cover with confidence.

Follow each step in order and adjust the fabric gradually for a smooth, balanced finish.

STEP 1

Identify the front and back

Open the cover completely and check the seams, labels or shape to identify the correct direction before placing it over the sofa.

STEP 2

Position it over the sofa

Place the cover over the centre of the sofa. Pull it gently over the back, arms and seating area. Ensure the cover sits evenly on the sofa.

STEP 3

Align the seams

Match the cover seams with the sofa’s edges and armrests. Adjust each side gradually to keep the fabric balanced.

STEP 4

Smooth the cover

Gently pull the fabric downward and around the sofa. Smooth out large wrinkles without overstretching the material.

STEP 5

Tuck for a tailored finish

Carefully tuck excess fabric into the gaps around the seat, arms and back. Use fitting foam pieces only when supplied with the product.

STEP 6

Check the finished look

Stand back and check the cover from every side. Adjust the seams, skirt and tucked areas until the cover appears balanced and neat.

How do I install a cover on an L-shaped sofa?

Measure and cover each sofa section separately. Install one section at a time, then align the covers where the sofa sections meet.
What if the cover looks loose?

Check that you selected the correct size, align the seams again and tuck any excess fabric into the sofa gaps. Contact us if the cover still appears significantly oversized.
What if the cover feels too tight?

Do not force or overstretch the fabric. Confirm your sofa measurements and selected cover size before continuing.
Why does my sofa look different from the product image?

Every sofa has different armrests, cushions and proportions. Minor differences in appearance are normal and depend on the shape of your furniture.
Should I install the cover while it is wet?

Install the cover only when it is completely dry unless the sewn-in care label or product instructions state otherwise.
